There are a number of entrances on Grainger Street, Nelson Street, Clayton Street and Nun Street well served by local buses particularly on Market Street and Grainger Street.

It is open on Monday and Wednesday between 9am and 5pm and on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday between 9am and 5.30pm.

Grainger market also holds an arts and craft market in the events space in the Grainger Arcade on the second Saturday of the month between 9am and 5pm.
